Wild Rice Hot Dish

1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup wild rice (soaked overnight, then drained)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can mushrooms, drained
1 cup milk
1/4 pound bacon, cut up
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can chopped or sliced water chestnuts (optional)
salt and pepper to taste

Saute ground beef, bacon, celery, and onion; drain off grease. Add remaining ingredients, seasoning with salt tand pepper to taste. Put in greased 2-quart casserole and bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour.
