Mozzarella Round Steak

2 pounds round steak
1 (1-pound) can whole tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon parsley
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon onion, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
dash of pepper
2 tablespoons salad oil
4 slices Mozzarella cheese

Arrange steak in [greased] baking dish. Mash tomatoes with spoon and spread over steak. Sprinkle with oregano, parsley, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and oil. Bake uncovered 1-1/4 hours at 325 degrees F. Top steak with cheese and bake 1/2 hour longer.
