Almond Chicken Francais

"Top honors go to this easy dish with wine, yogurt, almonds, and cheese--"

1 (8-ounce) package wide noodles (about 5-1/2 cups)
1 (9-ounce) package frozen French-style green beans
1 (8-ounce) carton plain yogurt (1 cup)
1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/4 cup dry white wine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon dried dillweed
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
dash pepper
3 cups cubed cooked chicken
1 cup slivered almonds
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Cook noodles and beans separately according to package directions; drain well. In medium bowl, combine yogurt, mayonnaise, wine, salt, parsley flakes, dillweed, garlic powder, and pepper. In a 3-quart casserole, layer half each of the noodles, green beans, chicken, almonds, Parmesan cheese, and yogurt mixture; repeat layers. Cover and bake in a 350 degree F. oven for 45 minutes or until heated through.--Julie Bohl, Port Chester, N.Y.
