Sausage and Noodle Casserole (Hillshire Farm)

1 pound sausage, sliced 1/2-inch thick
4 ounces or 2 cups fine noodles
2 tablespoons chopped pimento
2 tablespoons chopped green pepper
1/4 cup milk
1 can condensed cream of celery or mushroom soup
1 cup shredded sharp processed cheese
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted

In skillet, brown sausage slices; drain off fat. Cook noodles in boiling unsalted water until tender; drain. Combine sausage, noodles, green pepper, and pimento. Add soup to milk; heat, stirring constantly. Add sharp cheese; heat until cheese is melted. Combine sauce with noodle mixture. turn into greased 1-1/2 quart casserole. Mix butter and crumbs; sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 to 35 minutes.

Serves 6.
