Nutty Pudding Bars

1 (12-ounce) package semisweet chocolate pieces (2 cups)
1 (12-ounce) package butterscotch pieces (2 cups)
1 (12-ounce) jar peanut butter
1 ounce unsweetened chocolate
1 cup butter or margarine
1/2 of one 4-serving-size regular vanilla pudding mix (5 tablespoons, not instant)
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 pounds powdered sugar, sifted
2-1/2 cups coarsely chopped peanuts

Combine chocolate and butterscotch pieces, peanut butter, and unsweetened chocolate. Stir over low heat until melted. Spread half of the mixture in 15x10x1-inch pan; chill until set. Cover remaining mixture and let stand at room temperature. Combine butter, pudding mix, and milk. Cook and stir to melt butter; stir in vanilla. Turn into large mixer bowl; beat in powdered sugar until smooth. Spread over chilled layer. Sprinkle nuts over top. Spread remaining chocolate over all.
